I stayed here for a month and I can't stress enough how accommodating and welcoming it was. I don't eat seafood and after I informed the staff on day 2,I never had to deal with seafood again. Generally the lessons are 9.15-11am with a 15 min break, 1-2pm then 3.15-4.30pm. The accommodation is within a the school campus and depending on the number of volunteers, it can be shared or solo. The majority of the teaching takes place in a separate campus which you are transported between with no cost. I cannot recommend this the school enough! You have plenty of time to explore Cambodia on the weekends too!

It was my first time teaching English and I loved the experience. the the school gives us total autonomy to choose the best way to handle the classes. Most of the time we have assistants in the classrooms, and they are very helpful. The kids are amazing and very kind. The city is relatively close to some touristic spots that you might visit on the weekends, if you wish, as the Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. It's a very positive experience for those who want to connect with locals and appreciate Cambodian Culture.

Best experience ever!! The Kids are lovely, I had so much fun with them. We were always playing games, sharing stories, singing, dancing. Even if You are not in class they Will follow You everywhere to play and improve their English. First I was planning to Stay 2 weeks but at the end I extended for more than 3 and I came back to the the school for another 3 weeks!! I can't thank enough to Mr Peter and Mr Kunthea's Family, they were always taking care of me, they Made me feel as part of their family. ❤️ The Teachers Also were an important part of My experience ☺️ the school to see you soon!!

My experience here was okay. i stayed in a the school down the street and was picked up at 7 am. Classes are from 9-11, 1-2, and 3:15-4:30. my biggest challenge at this the school was my lack of previous teaching experience. i was given a class of high schoolers who were at different levels of english speaking. when i reached out to mr. peter for help, he expressed my main objective was to communicate with the students. i found it difficult to engage the older students but they were respectful. To future volunteers: you are given full freedom to teach whatever you want. definitely give it a try!

I had a wonderful time meeting everyone here and am so grateful for Mr. Kunthea and his family for their hospitality as well as Peter and all of the other teachers. I had never taught before coming here and found it overwhelming in the beginning as you fully lead each class and create lesson plans. The fluency and interest levels vary a lot between the classes and grades. My shifts were 2 classes in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, arriving to the the school at 730 in the morning and leaving around 5 pm each day. Some things were different than expected, but I had a good time and am grateful!
