Hours per week: Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.

The Experience

Work scope can vary from helping with checking in/out, little bit of gardening and cleaning, entertaining and giving help to the guests and so. It will be an extra if you are passionate in cycling. No experience needed, we will provide training! We don't care about your gender, your religion or where you are from. Most importantly positive attitude above all. We look forward to having you here. One of the best hostel I've ever stayed and definitely the coziest hostel I'd like to come back to volunteer again! Owner Howard is such a great host. He's so caring and very flexible. Work hours is respected and we have more than enough volunteers while I was there, so it was easy to make shift and we had off days every 3~4 days. Hostel organize a lot of fun activities. Other volunteers are all nice and helpful. I love Malacca itself as well. It's a small world heritage city with great vibe, very friendly and nice people. A lot of great eateries nearby hostel and easy to explore.

I highly recommend volunteering here if you get the chance! Howard has created such a wonderful environment for volunteers and guests alike. Also, the hostel matches the cozy and comforting vibes of the city and it's so lovely! Howard was also super accommodating and kind during my stay here, I hope to come back one day :)
