If you go with an open mindset looking to be close to nature and meet international people, then this is going to be an incredible experience. You live in direct contact with nature and every day see new flora and fauna. You get to wake up with bird sounds and go to beautiful beaches everyday with fun people. The trip also feels worthwhile because you get to contribute to the community where I for example helped by teaching English. This interaction also allowed me to make friendships with the locals. Overall great experience which I recommend to all.

This was my first volunteer experience, so there isn't much I could expect. The jungle life is beautiful. Sometimes you'll see just as much on a quiet afternoon in Drake Bay as you could see in the Corcovado jungle itself. My accommodation has at least been understandable. Sometimes we volunteers would face a lack of communication between hosts. However, the family is kind, and doors are open to adventure, understanding the local life, and sustainability on our own time. I'm thankful for this experience and the people I met along the way!

The place is v. remote & it costs 50$ from sjo to get there. Beach is close, little people, very nice. Organization was lacking unfortunately. If u want to make ecolog. impact, this is not the place. All we did was rake leaves everyday for 1h. Lots of freetime, which is nice, but u get the point. It is not a farm. You only get 1 (not so big) portion p. Meal p.P., which is fs not enough for some ppl. U pay in advance & will not be given ur money back if u want to leave early. Common spaces r not too cozy, rooms not like pics, but fine. Enjoyed my time for socializing, ppl & nature, not project.
