The Experience

My daughter and I bought the estate a year ago and there is plenty to do around the house; mainly for now it is building, fixing, and creating lovely artistic corners. Since the place is strictly ecological and organic there is a lot to do about arranging permacultural gardens, collecting grass, organising collecting water for gardens and similar. I love people who like to work, are independent and have a positive attitude.

We had a wonderful time with Gita and Dakini! They made us feel so welcome in their home. The work was varied and we felt that we had contributed something meaningful each day. Gita is a wonderful cook, and the meals were always fulfilling. Janja the farm and Gita's was the perfect place to take a break in nature and we wished we could've stayed longer. Gita and Dakini are amazing people and were an absolute pleasure to be around. We arrived as strangers, and left feeling like family. The experience was a lot more focused on learning and connecting with one another, rather than working to any strict timelines. You help out where you want to, aligning with your own interests. This made for very enjoyable days. We had the pleasure of eating delicious food that both Gita and Dakini's Dad made - the burek is the best! This is the place to go if you want an exciting, revitalising and enjoyable experience in a cool Croatian village. Thank you Gita!
