The Experience

Our place a is an old sanctuary, a place for contemplation and connection with nature and water. It is a place to get inspired to redesign life's attitudes on Earth and manifest that awakening. We focus on conscious nutrition, meditation, and permaculture. We are nestled in the woods of Odemira, Alentejo, South West Portugal, bordering Algarve.

This was my first experience volunteering! And the Center setted my expectations high. Amazingly beautiful and cozy atmosphere and volunteers camp where volunteers and some workers are living. People who works at the Center are super welcoming and warmly, really made there good connections with like-minded souls. Also for practicing connecting to yourself and nature more, the Center is good place for that. Cause as a volunteer you can use different shalas etc. while your staying (just don't disturb guests). Food is provided three times per day and it is so delicious with a lot of varietys!

The Center was my first volunteer so I have certain expectations and dudes after arrived I just felt so good about everything and I was so welcoming for Jacob, Laura and the time that seems like home very quickly. Tasks are simple but require some dedication and there is plenty of time to explore the place and region. The people that work are super nice and helpful, and I made a new family of friends Nath, Isa, Sofia and Mai I am very grateful for living so many good memories together… no more words just love for the Center. Thanks Laura, Jacob for the opportunity and I just hope to came back soon <3

Entering the Center valley you can feel the strong power of the spirit of this forest. The nature there is magical and abundant. If you are looking for nature to connect with and meditate, the Center is a GEM ☺️. work wise I did gardening, carried woods, sand and paint outdoor furniture.... As long as you are responsible and do your tasks, nobody is micro-managing you and they give you freedom on scheduling your working hours. The managers Laura and Jaycob are pretty busy but acessible to reach and contact at any time you need. They are a good heart couple with possitive goals.
