Hello Worldpackers! We are a team taking over an existing hostel in the city of Edinburgh, we need great people to join us and help us rebuild reputation! Over the years this place has lost it's charm and needs us to put it back on track. We are a fun and enthusiastic hostel with amazing staff. We can assure you if you join us that it would be nothing but a fun time.

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel👯‍♀️ the work hours were good and I had lots of free time to see Edinburgh, which is a beautiful city! During my stay, there weren't so many „traditional backpackers“ and some of the guests made me feel a bit uncomfortable (e.g. one drunk guy rubbed his head on my shoulder in the middle of the day , but luckily Micaelyn stepped in) that said, the staff and other volunteers were great and made the experience unforgettable! Oh and I would recommend to bring some clothes that can get dirty since we cleaned with bleach. Thank you for the great time:)

Volunteering at the hostel was a wonderful time! Edinburgh is a beautiful city and the location of the hostel is great! I met some wonderful people here-the team of volunteers really makes the experience! Hours are always respected, provisions are always delivered on, and the hostel provides a great experience for volunteers.

This was a great experience to meet new people and create great connections with people from around the world. the hostel does however have a strange atmosphere in terms of guests but the volunteers make the good vibes. Yoga is not included so don't expect it and you will not be put on any reception shifts unless you are long term (more than a couple months). The dorm for volunteers is quite small also. But with all that said I had an amazing time, Edinburgh is beautiful and I'll be going back to volunteer at the hostel in a few months ☺️

I can't expain what I brought home, it is probably the most awesome experience that I've done in my entire life! All the staff is lovely, the work hours are respected (the shift could be hard sometimes, but not too much and not evervday)! My time there was so good, I've made true friendships and would like to return in Edinburgh in the future!
