It is an amazing location with beautiful View to a cachoeira at the Das contes river and in the back wild forest and patically wild cacaofields. And also the team of volunteers was really good matching I will miss them. Only thing to improve is to organize long-term plans of the particular volunteers stay. Thus I could accomplish my self more to make the dream of growing totally the own food come true. But all in all I can recommend it!!

Important: In the state of Bahia there are THREE Agua Frìa. You gotta go to the one close to Itacarè, in the SOUTH of Bahia! We didn't know it and we went to the wrong one. Better communication would be necessary! My time at the Pousada was anyways really good, I extended my stay 10 days longer than expected. I love the location, it is in a quiet village the landscape is fantastic and since it is close to Itacarè you can easily reach the beaches. Fernando is cool & easy going but he needs to improve the organization: daily tasks, directions etc. Volunteers need instruction to work!

Tive uma vivência de muito aprendizado do ciclo do cacau e natureza regional. Fernando é muito receptivo e flexível, aceita muito bem novas ideias. o eco lodge tem muito potencial, em todos os aspectos. Senti falta de uma base sólida no que se refere a projetos e também mais estrutura para os voluntários (durante meu tempo o banheiro quebrou e o chuveiro é semi aberto). O álcool também é um fator que tende a afastar as pessoas do propósito em comum.
