- Housekeeping
- Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

- You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

- You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
- Free Laundry
- You can use our laundry room freely.

The Experience
Here we are a family run business based in the heart of Achill. We are seeking help in our Bar, Bnb and Restaurant. 5 Hours a Day,5 Days a week, 2 Days off with all meals included. Private Room. Award winning beaches and golf courses near by, scenic walks and mountain hikes. Bus stop near by also.

- Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

My experience here was really good. Peter and Loretta are really nice people, also all the staff of the Hotel. I had good time with them and thet let my know new places here in the island what's awesome. I recommend this place to da volunteer here. For sure you will have good and nice time here :)

Loretta and Peter and nice people with a small family run business. The town is quiet and the landscape is beautiful. I enjoyed my calm time on Achill Island very much. Meeting locals can be a hoot and I think it is an accurate picture of Irish culture. Thanks for all the things :)

Great place to go. Peter, Loretta and K are excellent people, they treat you as one more since the first day. I regret not having more time there. If you have the chance to go, without a doubt apply. I have improved my English and could speak with local people at the bar. it's a quiet place so if you want to go party, it's not your best option. the food is delicious. Furthermore, there are some beaches that are awesome.

The hotel is a beautiful, quiet place with very kind people, Loretta and Peter are really kind. The town is small but if you like nature, walking and spending time with yourself, this is the right place. This was my first experience as a volunteer in Ireland and I recommend it if you want to connect with the country culture. The staff and the locals are very nice and welcoming.

Peter provides with the three meals and the private room. However, he is a person who is not prepared to have international volunteers. Out of the 6 weeks I was there, 5 weeks I worked overtime and only had 1 day off, and you never know what your schedule or day off is in advance because he doesn't know how to plan or communicate. If you think about going to a pub at night he gives you a curfew (12-1am) and if you are late you can get scolded as if you were 13 yo or find yourself locked out. He was also very disrespectful to me, condescending and not easy to talk to nor to his wife.
