The Experience
We’re looking for social and outgoing people looking to help build a community that is welcoming for everyone. We never ask volunteers to cook or clean guest rooms/bathrooms. Our primary focus is to create an environment where guests have fun parties or events to attend every night and a positive environment to chill in every day.

Staying at Mr the hostel has been one of the most memorable experiences ever! The staff is not only incredibly funny and relaxed, but they also go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. One of the things that impressed us the most was their flexibility and understanding when it came to agreed times and unexpected situations. When my friend and I encountered an issue with our flights home and needed to extend our stay, they were quick to assist us without any hesitation. The atmosphere here truly fosters a sense of family, where everyone looks out for each other.

I had a great time at the hostel! I was bartending and helping with events. The staff were super welcoming and I loved hanging out with the other volunteers. I was definitely burnt out after 4 weeks of partying. However, we get to stay at other hostels for free so I got to visit other areas on the lake and el paredon. The boat parties are always a great time and I will miss Dobby the dog and Bread the cat. Thanks for a fun month the hostel!

I had an amazing team and made life long friends. The environment was always so full of life and is run by wonderful owners shoutout to August and Kenny!! They listen to your concerns and really made you feel heard. I could not recommend this place enough!
