The Experience
Puedes ayudarme con pequeños arreglos de la construcción y de la nueva huerta. Los horarios son muy flexibles, dependiendo del trabajo a ser realizado. Es una casa particular, no un hostel, por eso compartimos todo, desde los trabajos hasta las comidas y los quehaceres del día a día de una casa. La mayor parte del tiempo será para disfrutar, pasear, leer libros, hacer un asado juntos, relajar.

It was a true pleasure to meet and collaborate with Luis. He welcomed us warmly and friendly. The work environment was also fun and very flexible. We enjoyed a lot being around the city of Mendosa with other international volunteers at Luis' house. Huge thanks and hugs to Luis, Jessica and Fran for being helpful and kind and sweet..🙂

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease in Luis' place. The work schedule was incredibly flexible, requiring only 15 hours per week, which allowed us ample time to explore the beautiful city of Mendoza and really immerse ourselves in the local culture. Our tasks ranged from maintenance to gardening and repairs, all of which were manageable and rewarding. Luis' place offers a perfect blend of work and leisure, making it an ideal spot for those looking to experience Mendoza authentically. We highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit.

Pros: Language exchange with other travelers Very flexible hours/work Friendly host Cons: A little bit of gossiping was happening, with other volunteers, which should of been mediated. The work was fair , however not all necessary tools to provide a high level of work were available. Overall I recommend this experience for an Immersive local experience in Mendoza. Luis is a great guy. I am still cery grateful for the opportunity.

Luis is nice and very helpful and work is very flexible. I had enough time to do my own things at home and in the city. It's a good opportunity if you want to get to know the city or have other work and commitments you want to keep during your voluntary experience. The place is a bit far from the centre, but there are buses nearby.
