The experience
Simoonga Thandizani Trust was set up in 2010, with 5 preschool children and 1 teacher.
The school is looking for volunteers who are interested in teaching, environment care, health and nutrition, sports, computer and internet, art (fine and performing). Simoonga Thandizani Trust School is keen on having volunteers with a variety of skills and experiences that they can give and share with the school.
What you offer
32 hours of help per week
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
What you get
2 days off per week
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Requirements
Intermediate English
Over 18 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
Volunteers will work from Monday to Friday starting from 730 am to 4pm. They will have lunch breaks from 1pm to 2pm.
Volunteers will be off on Saturdays and Sundays.
Activities & Shift
All volunteer shifts starts from 730am to 4pm from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are off days.
Rules
Volunteers are free to move as they will and to mingle with the local communities .However , for their security the school authority need to be advised of the volunteers' whereabouts.
