The Experience

We offer our beds and a great time at our hostel! We have a chill place with a pool area, a small bar and we need people who really like to help us keeping a good vibe at nights, making drinks or dinners (you can make with them) or staying in the afternoons to help with the check-ins and check-outs and helping with cleaning when its necessary. We make "small" parties at nights with some drinking games and any new idea is welcome :)

The experience in the hostel was awesome. For the volunteers, I can say to you that there is an organized list of all the tasks that you must do, without any surprises. I have not had the pleasure to meet Roberto, the extrovert part of the hostel. But, this let me the opportunity to know Ronnie, who may be seen as a direct, strong, and, ferocious Sea Lion but he has a kind heart similar to a Kiwi. As his home country, New Zealand, he is extremely interesting with amazing abilities and experiences. All the best and I will definitely come back someday.

I felt at home at the hostel. The work is straightforward and dependable, and there is plenty of free time to enjoy the island, which is rich in both activity and inactivity. The hostel is abuzz most of the time. It's easy to meet locals, as they're all incredibly warm and welcoming. Roberto and Ronnie are now lifelong friends of mine and I can't wait to go back to Morro.

This was my first experience as a volunteer and it couldn't be better! Roberto and Ronnie are beautiful people who have created an amazing hostel for volunteers and guests to spend time together, having so much fun! Breakfast is supernice, pool is amazing, rooms are super and they have a nice hammockpart if you want to chill! Livia is supercool and even though I dont speak perfect portugese we got along superwell and she is very good in beerpong!!! The workingtime was perfect and if you like cooking you get to cook meals for everyone if you want for dinner:-) Thank you for everything<3<3<3

I feel that I cannot give an accurate report of the hostel as I left after 5 days due to the fact that I was not prepared to sleep in the bedroom provided (it was unfinished and therefore had various issues like leaks and damp). However, I can say that the hostel is lovely and so are the people working there. I had fun for the 5 days I was there and saw that the guests were enjoying themselves too. I'm sure the volunteer bedroom will turn out fine when the problems have been fixed! If you like beaches and parties Morro de São Paulo is the place to be ;)
