The Experience

We have a few volunteers staying at the hostel to socialise with the backpackers and help them make the most of their holiday and get the goods reviews that our hostel relies on! We also require help in reception and cleaning. Equally important is being able to control the noise levels at night to avoid complaints from our neighbours. We give priority to people speaking english and spanish fluently

It was my first worldpacker experience and I couldn't ask for better one. Giulia is the most amazing boss you can find! She and her team are all welcoming and made me feel like I'm a part of their family. She knows what she's expecting from you and she's always there to help you with anything you need, just like other teammates. The tasks are pretty easy, the biggest part of them is to interact with guest and make them feel welcomed and happy. In between your shift you'll have enough time to explore everything in this beautiful area. I'm so happy I choose this warm, amazing place to volunteer.

The hostel is simply wonderful. My experience here was so fantastic because of the lively, funny, slightly crazy and inspiring workers and volunteers. The hostel is small, incredibly clean and cosy and brings volunteers and guests together with social events very often. I got to meet many people and have built some lovely friendships. You will stay in an apartment which is a 7 min walk from the hostel; it is very rare for volunteers to be given this luxury. You will become part of the family in this beautiful part of Italy and always feel welcomed and looked after.

First experience with WorldPackers and I don't regret it at all. I'm really happy that I have the opportunity to work with Giulia and her team, everyone was so helpfull, great volunteering experience if you want to discover one of the most beautiful parts of Italy (Cinque Terre) <3 The hostel is AMAZING, located in the city center, the tasks were more than fair, we had a lot of free time for hiking, beach days and discover the surroundings. Thank you again Giulia, Tim, Male and Gabriele for being so kind and helpfull. I totally recommend the experience. 10/10

I had the best time volunteering at the hostel. Giulia, Tim, Malen and Gabriele not only are always making sure the guests have a great time but also the volunteers. The hours are pretty easy and the job itself is very pleasant. It's a great place to make new friends, enjoy the local culture and explore the beautiful surroundings. If you're looking for a genuine Italian experience this is the place. I'm so glad I was welcomed with open arms. I'd recommend it 100%.

I worked every other day of the week so 28hr/ week per average. Cleaning bathrooms, setting up breakfast, keeping it stocked, and then helping with aperitifs, talking to guests, helping with dinner. We stayed in an apartment 8 min walk away. The big downside was no internet. Besides that it was as expected: bed, kitchen, shower, the usual. Giulia is the nicest person ever and so accommodating as well as flexible and kind. The rest of the staff is amazing and kind too. The cinque Terre is beautiful. Not a lot of nightlife or activities but definitely nice for connecting with nature and relaxin
