I have had the most amazing four weeks at shepherds house, Ann and Jimmy and their family are amazing hosts, as well as all the children at school they are so full of love 🥰 I am so pleased to have been able to make a lasting impact for the children at school with fundraising for new beds, food and a tv for the kids ❤️ I will be retuning for sure as they all have a place in my heart forever ❤️

Jimmy & Ann were absolutely WONDERFUL.
Shepherds House Childcare Ministries has my entire heart, I will forever be grateful for all the amazing relationships & memories that I was able to take home with me! My friend & I were able to donate food for the children, but school supplies & get them a gate for the school and I would do it ALL OVER AGAIN for THEM. Thank you Jimmy & Ann for what you do for these children daily, they’re so blessed to have you both! I will most definitely without a doubt be coming back to Shepherds House Childcare Ministries.❤️

Our experience with the Mugisha family and Shepherds House Junior School was groundbreaking and life changing. They are very respectful and gracious hosts. We not only bonded with this family, but we learned so much from them. The work that they allowed us to do with the Junior school and their Girls Center was so impactful for us and them. This was by far, our best volunteer experience. We are forever grateful!!

What a wonderful family to meet this year, Auntie Tina, Uncle Mike and little Zuri, can't count how many times I requested them to extend their stay with, because the way we all fell in love with them. We have learnt so many from them and they have blessed the children at Shepherd's House Junior School.
On a personal level, i want to thank uncle Mike to teaching me how to use social media and editing videos.
Auntie Tina, you know how much we treasure you, oh my lovely (Guga nickname) Zuri seeing her giving out fruits and soap to very child at Shepherd's House Junior School was heart warming.
Shepherd's House will always be HOME.
YOU COME AS A VISITOR, YOU LEAVE AS FAMILY MEMBER.

Jimmy and Ann were wonderful hosts. They made sure we were well taken care of. I enjoyed helping their school with immediate items needed and to provide them with sustainable development projects that will help the school become self reliant. They definitely have the right idea of sustainability. They have a print company that helps them run the school. It was a pleasure meeting them and we will continue to support their mission and causes.

The experience un Shephars House is just something amazing. You have to you get used to the real African lifestyle, to start enjoying , realising that the most of the things that we have we don't need it to be happy. The love and kindness of this kids is just something unbeliavle, they will stay in your hearts forever. All you can teach them is less compared to what they teach you. The worst part is the last day , it is imposible don't cry seeing their faces and knowing that your home is very far and it is dificult to see them again.
Hope we see us again.
